Agree with you but not all gamblers live inside bankruptcy, bad debt, foreclosure programs. But these are only possible for those who are addicted gamblers. A way to prevent children from doing these things is to give them less money in their hands evn give them only what they need to spend, then they won't have money to gamble. In fact, you should schedule a separate time for gambling so that you don't have any problems at work. Violence on the other hand i would gamble to keep it secret and keep all wins and losses confined to myself.
The right way to prevent children from gambling is to educate children to avoid gambling and remind them of the dangerous impacts of gambling without knowing how to avoid the risks of gambling, but this way of limiting children's money is not necessarily effective because they can use some of their money to gamble, so it is important for you to monitor its activity in the browser history on the smartphone.
I think that educating children about gambling is not a good step because it might arouse their curiosity. In a country like mine where casinos are advertised in every print media and sign post including TV programs, telling children that what they see in TV being advertised is bad may not sit well with them. Some of them might want to verify and might find out it is a way of making money. The right thing might be to ensure you first keep our gambling activities away from them, then you will put more energy in telling them the age requirements to gamble and what harm it could do to them if they indulge in gambling earlier than that.

The dilemma these days is that children can try what they want to do without the permission of their parents. As they have their own gadgets, they will surely encounter these gambling sites at one point. So even if we say, we want to say this activity is bad, they will for sure try it. What we can do is instill the importance of handling money in different circumstances. Because if they know the value of money, they won't spend it to just unnecessary things or activities.
