The month of August 2024 will be memorable for every Bengali. After the independence war of 1971, in 2024, the independence war had started again. The war started mainly around the quota movement and ended with the fall of the dictatorial government.
Really happy with our brothers and sisters for gaining freedom. It’s a shame it had to last this long and there were too many sacrifices to ensure freedom for the entire country and its people.
Then another danger started. Indian government releases water from Farakka dam without any warning. Due to this, many districts of Bangladesh went under. Millions of people are disoriented. Some have lost their houses, some have lost their lives. This August will be remembered for the whole life by every Bengali.
Everyone in Bangladesh is strong and I pay for all of them. These are difficult challenges I pray that they all rise above it. There’s way too much wars going on but I hope enough people can see this and help. If they can.
