Staking takes long time for you to get the reward, while trading, if you got the talent for it, can make you 20% profit within a day, but the risk is high as well and can make you lose money instead whereas with staking, you're only at the risk of volatility if you staked non stablecoin.

personally I'd go by splitting the capital, like 90% staking and 10% trading, that way I can have peace of mind while trading and even if the market crashing I won't lose more than 90% of money and the money I staked could compensate for the loss incurred from the crashes.

overall, both complement each other.
