The defeat against Liverpool may still be tolerable because Liverpool is also a strong team even though the defeat was quite embarrassing for Manchester United. If in the last few matches Man United cannot win, of course Ten Hag will be fired, this season is the last season of proof for Ten Hag because if he fails again this season then it is likely that management will fire him and I think that is quite realistic because for the past 3 seasons Manchester United management has fully supported what Ten Hag has done but there has been no change or progress.
This defeat is big and unacceptable because Manchester United and Liverpool are traditional competitors in Premier League and none of them want to lose a match to their opponent. Manchester United can not use any word to heal their pain from this defeat which is a big shame too.
With this defeat, it's lucky for Ten Hag as it comes in early of season but if it is in middle of season, a fire can be taken immediately.
