After watching the way how opponents score goals against Manchester United for the past few seasons ever since Erik ten Hag took over the team as manager, I am starting to wonder how much time does Erik ten Hag needs to improve the defense of his team as Manchester United had already lost 2 games out of 3 games played and Liverpool truly makes it looks so easy to beat Manchester United at the stadium of Old Trafford by scoring 3 goals. I guess it will take a long time for Manchester United to make the stadium of Old Trafford to became a solid fortress again.
Last season there were many blunders made by Manchester United defenders which made this team very weak in defense. And I didn't expect that to still happen this season. Even now I see several blunders occurring in the midfield and front line. I think there is something we don't know about that is happening in that squad. I can't think of a reason why the great players there turned into players who were often careless. I really want to see Manchester United return to its glory days like in the past. In the past, I was always excited when watching this team. But now I have lost my passion when watching them compete.
From my own point of view except Erik ten Hag is sack else I don't there is any magic he can perform on the club, recall he was in the verge of getting sack towards the end of last season after a series of poor performances in both premier league and European competition, luckily he won FA Cup against their rival Man City, I believe that is why their board kept him, now with series of underperforming in this new season even signing of new players yet nothing to show for it means a decision has to be taken in the next upcoming few matches unless there is another topnotch and remarkable improvement on the team which I think is not achievement with this manager imagine with only one match and losing two out of three by a big club like Man Ut.
Well, many of us here have been saying since last season that Manchester United needs a new coach. And many of us speculated that Erik Ten Hag would be fired at the end of last season. But our suspicions were wrong because it turned out that Erik Ten Hag was still retained by the club. He was given another chance. But I think that if this season Erik ten Hag is still unable to bring about good changes then the club will definitely regret their decision to keep Erik ten Hag. And currently we haven't seen any improvement in this team. Everything is still the same as last season. And I don't feel optimistic about this club this season.
