I will blcok, ignore anyone who talk about about if im a thief or not...
You are a thief.
He is not a thief, the coins never existed except in his fantasy.
Come on all of you should know better then to keep feeding the troll and his BS.
I mean it is fun and all to watch the stream of BS that comes from him but it's getting old at this point.
...I can go to Airport Auctions where I can bid for some lost luggage. If I win one and find a laptop containing a Bitcoin Wallet with Funds in it and other personal information of the victim, it does NOT make it alright for me to steal it or use their information with out their consent....
That is kind of a murky area at the moment:
Most places have interesting laws about that. But for the most part, yes if you buy something with data on (drive) or in it (say a file cabinet) then that data and any value from it is yours. Barring copyright and stuff like that.
Kind of like if you buy a safe at a garage sale and it's filled with cash, that cash is yours. But, obviously things like that will vary based on local laws.
Is it right to take their
BTC or their PII? No, not really but....
Is it legal? Big unknown at the moment. Using PII to do things is 100% illegal. But; if you have a
BTC wallet on a laptop that obviously has no security since you (the buyer) got into it after you bought it at an auction and then having no password on their wallet to send funds. At that point is it any different then if they had an envelope of cash in their bag?
This is not the post / place to be discussing it. But it is an interesting question as to where everyone draws the line.
