The defeat against Liverpool may still be tolerable because Liverpool is also a strong team even though the defeat was quite embarrassing for Manchester United. If in the last few matches Man United cannot win, of course Ten Hag will be fired, this season is the last season of proof for Ten Hag because if he fails again this season then it is likely that management will fire him and I think that is quite realistic because for the past 3 seasons Manchester United management has fully supported what Ten Hag has done but there has been no change or progress.
Liverpool thrashed Manchester United at Old Trafford this season, the Reds have been in total massive domination against the Red Devils. Manchester United owners, the Glazers family are relenting, having absolutely everything to change the club to become a standard one, when it comes to comparison with Manchester City, Liverpool, there will be concrete evidence of epic performance.
Erik Ten Hag, this is the final season the team's board is giving him chance, atleast he's winning titles with the club. The coach should focused on the performance of the team, they're slacking behind and this is not just the problem, they also need to fixed their squad, which concerns the players. Erik Ten Hag choice of signings are inappropriate for the team, he needs to realized his mistakes and correct them now that he still has the chance.
In all fairness to Liverpool, you can't just say Liverpool are a good team so the loss is justified. A club like Manchester United, who are often considered to be the greatest club in all of England, should not get thrashed by their biggest rival, that too at home. An Old Trafford defeat feels like nothing else to a United fan, hurts much more than you can comprehend. And if that loss is against their biggest rivals,, the hurting is much more intensified.
If I recall correctly, this is Erik Ten Hag's third season at United. Yes, they won two trophies, but none of them are THAT significant. Both are local trophies, and none of them are really credited outside of England. And their performance in the league was not satisfactory, not by the club's standards.
The start to this season was really bad for United, and it's not fair to blame the coach for everything, but it's really easy to do that, and that's what happens majorly. I think Ten Hag got enough backing by the management, and now it's time for him to take things seriously, and fix everything that's going wrong. From a neutral perspective, his football is confusing, and that should not be the case. Cloudy approaches never work out.
