Osimhen is a typical waiting striker so there must be a player who can provide a good ball supply in midfield, he is not a typical striker who picks up the ball which we can see when a club implements a false nine. But overall he is a good player.

His statistics with Napoli have tended to increase since he joined, peaking in the 2022/2023 season when he could become a goal scoring machine for Napoli, last season he declined again because there were several problems he faced, one of which was injury and also the overall team play Napoli also declined slightly, so that affected Osimhen's performance too. I understand why Conte didn't include his name in the list of players, because every coach must have their own criteria, and Conte prefers Lukaku.
I'm even of the opinion that he be applauded because I mean osimhen has to face all he did faced last season yet the total number of goals he scored was above the cumulative average he has been scoring in a season since he joined Napoli so it was a typical decline but something I could call a circumstantial decline. If you are talking about osimhen's striking pattern and referring him to been one who needs supply and all that, I want you to still consider how he did it in the first season at Napoli where he didn't have any of that yet he did so well and even in the second season where he has the highest number of goals, it was much of any of such assist, in AFCOn where he represented his country, same happened he was rather creating the chances for others to score so I would agree to your opinion completely in that aspect.
