The "broccoli" joke's funny. Yeah, he's not the young talent anymore, but experience matters, and Lukaku's still got it. Examine his loan periods. He has stood up every time and had influence. Remember him at Inter under Conte? That was Lukaku at his best. He is a pro, picks things quickly, and delivers. Odosimhen? Yes, he had an outstanding season; then, what? Faded, got into a mess cause of Napoli, now he's off to Galatasaray

Lukaku can adapt. He might not be the fastest guy on the pitch anymore, but he's got the smarts, the positioning, the finishing touch. He is indeed aging. Yet, that also makes him wiser and more cool under pressure. When the game hangs on, you want a player like that on your squad. Never undervalue the authority of experience. Lukaku has still more to contribute

What a belly (just joking, no sarcasm)  Roll Eyes

Coach Antonio Conte's tactics are considered quite suitable for Lukaku and it has been proven when they work together and what Lukaku showed in his debut match with Napoli also shows that it is true, but personally I see from Lukaku's overall performance in several seasons and it cannot be denied that Lukaku's individual quality has declined quite a bit.

And for the comparison with Osimhen I think these two players appeared in different generations, Osimhen's exclusion was not because of his quality or performance but because of a conflict that did not surface so that Osimhen was not included in the plan to build the Napoli team this season.

Btw, Lukaku's current posture is quite funny, he doesn't look like a professional footballer anymore and because of his excess weight, his movements have now slowed down.
