After watching the way how opponents score goals against Manchester United for the past few seasons ever since Erik ten Hag took over the team as manager, I am starting to wonder how much time does Erik ten Hag needs to improve the defense of his team as Manchester United had already lost 2 games out of 3 games played and Liverpool truly makes it looks so easy to beat Manchester United at the stadium of Old Trafford by scoring 3 goals. I guess it will take a long time for Manchester United to make the stadium of Old Trafford to became a solid fortress again.
Erik ten Hag's Manchester United defence stinks. Its more than bad luck. Two losses to start the season? You dont win championships that way. Let Liverpool run wild at Old Trafford? Thats hilarious. This used to be a fortress, now it's a playground for the opposition.
We saw defensive mistakes last season and they continue. Looks like they've learned nothing. They're losing games due to shoddy defence and midfield choices. Bigly. Remember last season's rumours? The spotlight was on Erik ten Hag. His FA Cup was lucky, but now? The pressure returns. He's out if his new additions dont win quickly.
This club deserves excellence. Right now, Ten Hag isnt enough. He's not the right man for the job.
The most important part of the team is the defensive line. In fact, if you don't have good defenders in your team you can't get good results because even if you score goals and have good forwards, still your team will easily lose and that's what happened in the game against Liverpool when they scored three goals in one game. Manchester United should hire better defenders and have better teamwork, this will make Manchester United a much better team but I think they can't have this with their coach Ten Hag because of the bad defensive line they had in Manchester United.
