I am fully convinced that Mbappe is a bright future signing for Real Madrid, every player who has found his best game always goes through a difficult stage in the early stages. So it is common for Mbappe to still find it difficult to adapt to Real Madrid's game. Moreover, there is Ancelotti who will continue to try to make him better, I am optimistic that Mbappe is in the right hands and at the right club to welcome a brilliant career.
It is not certain that Mbappe will shine in Real Madrid. I wish him all the best but we have seen players with great potential flopping immediately after they move to a new league. It happened to Andriy Shevchenko, Fernando Torres, and many others. He is still getting used to the Spanish League and also has not had a bad time, having scored three times in the La Liga. The season will continue after the international break and we will also enter the Champions League season. Many pundits are concerned about the poor attacking force of Real Madrid, but they will keep getting better, hopefully.
I have not seen a very poor performance from the Real Madrid team that will make me feel like they’re underperforming. They are just yet to understand each other in the field, but technically, they’re playing greatly well as a team and I see them improving much better as the season goes further. The La Liga is such a competition that Real Madrid are used to and will fight to make their way out of the league in a good position, only Barcelona gives them tough time when fighting for the league title.
With this their performance before the international break, I expect a more fierce game from them and I believe they can do something out of it by making the champions league come home again since Mbappe joined them. Their game will only get better and I foresee them coming back stronger after this break, they could just give us as we expect from them as the toughest team in the La Liga.
