Do you know why that is? It's because Buterin and Lubin were dumping their stash, which is something Satoshi never done and will not do. For this reason ETH will never become the new king of cryptocurrencies and no amount of ethical moves will change that.
Saying that he made a fortune from those meme tokens implies that he kept the profits. And why do you think that sellng some Neiro token for charity would be a reason for eth not performing well? Money he donated was worth $103k at the time, and that was enough to drop the value of Neiro with -60%. So it was peanuts really compared to the fact that in 2021, he donated worth $1B us dollars of SHIB meme tokens for India COVID-Crypto Relief Fund.

If he really would have wanted to make make a fortune, i am sure he wouldn't have burned rest of the $6B worth of shiba that were aidropped to him.

It's not the fault of Vitalik that people keep airdropping ther meme tokens to his wallets, and if he can do something good with them, it's weird to blame him for good deeds.
