Gambling itself has a lot to do with emotions hence the earlier a gambler understand that very fact the better in order to be able to manage his emotions towards gambling. However, one of the major problem is the exit point that are at some point not always easy to determine, some times when a gambler is on the winning line he gamble more and when he is also losing he also tend to gamble more so he could stand chances of winning and may end up chasing losses hence, understanding the exit point is very point irrespective of whether we are winning or Lossing as not to be trapped or carried away by emotions and becomes devasted if things didn't go as expected.
A gambler should be aware of the right time to control himself in the place of emotions and exit. In my opinion you will lose more in gambling if you are overconfident about winning. While playing you should keep in mind that you will lose most of the time and decide the slots accordingly. You can limit the allocation of money and set the alarm for the time of departure. I realistically use this method to ensure proper use of limited resources and limited time from gambling, which plays a major role in limiting financial losses. Also, use the same method with profit feedback.

Trying to think the other way around I think is the best approach, in the sense that when you play especially casino games like slots then the main thing you have to think about is that you will lose, and therefore you have to believe that the house will always win, I think that is a good initial thought to avoid significant disappointment.
That is the best because I believe that when you are late and experiencing emotions then greater losses are likely to occur due to various impulsive actions that will occur due to the drive of emotions.

Therefore, focusing more on risk management is something that must be prioritized rather than being too serious about winning, you have to understand that winning is determined by the house while losing a large amount depends on how smart you are in managing and controlling everything, and betting a small amount that you can afford to lose is the best way to start.
