Actually I see Pioli is much better than Fonseca. Even though Pioli last season couldn't make AC Milan develop better, at least he didn't make AC Milan start the season badly. And it was very rare for there to be internal problems between players and coaches at that time. Even though there has been one, it can be resolved quickly.
Stefano Pioli's dismissal was a very good coach for AC Milan but it was just unfortunate for him that last season was not so much good for him because all his strategy was not bringing any positive outcome for the club, though the position AC Milan came out on the table was not bad but the management was not happy with the results because they expected him to do more better, for me I would have just prefer Stefano Pioli's dismissal to remain the AC Milan coach because he is very experienced so instead of firing him they should have just allow him to complete his contract because the contract was supposed to end on 2025 but they decided to cut it short for him, however let's see how far they will go under the coaching of Paulo Fonseca.
What happened to Milan this season was beyond the expectations of fans who previously expected a lot of changes and improvements in their team performance, Pioli has spent a lot of time with Milan even though he managed to win the scudetto in season 2022 but it is still not enough for the management to keep him as a coach, Pioli is actually a great coach and even he has been able to continue to keep Milan in the top 4 so far,
Exactly my point because it would have been more better if AC Milan would have maintain the performance they had last season even if they did not win any major League than the poor performance they have become now, the management think that changing coach would be the solution to there problems without knowing that they are making the whole situation worster for them, the way I'm viewing the whole thing AC Milan will disappoint there fans this season because they will perform very poor to the extent they will be wishing for the previous season performance, though I no that the club management wants to achieve a greater heights but there calculation was totally wrong.
