Legal action would be a big waste of time and money. Nobody really knows who FBC are anyway, it's two guys, who are from the UK, but the domain itself has privacy enabled. You would need a subopena just to get details from cloudflare (where the domain is pointing to), just to try to get some personal details of the owners. But who knows, they have probably covered their tracks well, maybe use TOR, VPNs, proxies and there would be many hurdles to jump through to eventually get the personal details of Wetsuit, Quinn and whoever else manages the site.
Based on the new terms of Freebitco, the website is owned and operated by "
FBC BV". Perhaps, they have registered a licence under Curacao (I'm not sure about this yet).
If they are a licensed and registered company, I guess it's not impossible to track them legally, right?
The biggest issue are the costs involved in such endeavor. For those who are concerned about their funds, it's advisable that they just withdraw all their money from the platform as soon as possible and forget about the premium bullshit.
