I would say that Bitcoin investment is risky for people who are not experienced with Bitcoin, moreover Bitcoin is the most reliable coin in cryptocurrency. But it is true that every person should be cautious before investing, otherwise it is always good for a person to be cautious as he may face losses at any time. Those who are new to Bitcoin investment should not only acquire knowledge about Bitcoin but also have long term plan in mind as investing is never profitable if it is short term. When an investor invests he must hold which will give him good success in future so investing in bitcoins cannot be profitable in short term so invest for long term. Patience is definitely one of the most important things in investing, the more patience one can achieve in the future, so knowledge and experience and patience are necessary for all investors before investing.
I would like to disagree with you because even those who have basic knowledge about bitcoins are not completely risky in bitcoin investment if they hold their investment for long time. I also didn't come here to invest with complete knowledge but tried to increase my investment experience by buying bitcoins every week with the money I had. Remember that every investment involves risk, be it small or large. When the price of a coin falls in the market, the level of risk for investors increases. Similarly, when the price of the coin increases in the market, the level of success of the investors increases.

By investment risk we may refer to market down or dip season. A dip in the market is a test for investors. Those who are able to patiently hold on to their investments without thinking of selling during the dip season reach the peak of success during the bullish season. Invest with a risk-averse mindset and have the determination to hold on to whatever the market conditions are.
As a result of the change in knowledge about Bitcoin, investors may have a tendency to deposit, but they must gradually increase the amount of backup funds. As you tend to accumulate bitcoins the risk space tends to shrink for you as you look to move forward in the long term. In this cycle, you may face many problems and multi-faceted problems in investment which investors need to wet their tongues with float cash to deal with because every person has an eye towards the invested funds and the tendency to use them for urgent needs is noticeable.

I also made this common mistake when I started investing but gradually I am trying to correct it and tend to build backup fund. I think every investor should maintain a long-term journey with their invested funds and the key component to doing that is having a backup fund that will protect your Bitcoin holdings in any situation. Yes you can use the backup fund in various ways such as tending to deposit more during bearish times but you should also keep a clear limit so that its growth increases gradually and for at least 3 months or 6 months or more to meet the daily needs of the family. Your main objective will be to hold bitcoins for the long term and ensure adequate backup funds to do so.
All what you are actually saying all boils down to knowledge on what it entails to hold successfully, though not all investors has the required knowledge before they start their Bitcoin investment journey, some start with a good knowledge on how to hold successfully, while some started without all the required knowledge but they later got the required knowledge along the line just as you now.
So it's very much common among Bitcoin investors, but when an/a individual(Bitcoin investor) came into the scene well prepared, by having all the required knowledge on how to hold successfully, by having a reliable source of income and an emergency fund, to fund any emergencies that may arise, he will certainly be successful in his investment as long as he is a long term holder, because almost all the Bitcoin investor that sold at a loss or during a dip didn't just sell because they were afraid, no, some sold due to emergencies situation that occurs that they have no emergency fund to address such a situation or their emergency fund wasn't enough to address it, so they where force to sell, so in essence of what am trying to say is that, having knowledge on how to hold, and all that it entails is very much key when investing Bitcoin.
