Actually playing a defensive game is even going to be worst for them because defensive play has the time or moment it works better because any club who only have a defensive pattern from the beginning of the match will always lose all the time because when we talk about defensive patterns it means that almost all the AC Milan players will all go back to the back and support there defenders in other not to conceive, actually I have watched several matches that a club use that method and conceived a lot of goals, so perhaps what they will do is that if they managed to score against any team, as they enter the second half they should focus more on the defensive and at the same time enforcing there front line.
A club playing a defensive pattern of football yet they concede goals aren't playing it right. Or possible the pattern doesn't suit the type of players in the club. A club can be known for it's defensive pattern but when they hire a new manager or sign new players that doesn't know how to play in a defensive way, it is going to be very hard for them to win games. Modern football coaches and players are interested more in attacking because they want to score lots of goals and dominate the match. Playing defensive means the wingers have to be fast players that can carry the ball and run during a counter attack for the team to score but AC Milan are lacking that quality.
