Barcelona is currently in a very strong position. Especially since last 4 matches they have played very good football. Their main area of strength is forward. As a result they play attacking football. They have scored a total of 13 goals in the last 4 matches where they have scored 3.25 goals per match (on average). Their team's young player Lamine Yamal plays very good football which he has shown in national team and club. He is only 17/18 years old and his football skills are impressing me. I wonder if he will contribute to football more than I expect in the future? Or can he compete with Messi? Messi and Lamine Yamal's arrival in football is almost identical. Now it remains to be seen whether their journey is perfect or not.
We cannot compare Lamine Yamal with Messi because they are both very different. One thing that can be noticed in common between the two is that they both play as right wingers with a more dominant left foot. Lamine Yamal has made a big contribution to Barcelona since Xavi introduced him, while Lamine Yamal has also contributed to Spain's success at Euro 2024.
Barcelona and management cannot force Yamal to shoulder much of the burden for the lack of titles they have won in recent seasons. Lamine Yamal should play without much burden and he should ignore the demands that compare him to Messi. Not wearing the number 10 jersey is lucky for him, otherwise Yamal might not be much different from Ansu Fati.
