Atletico Madrid have always been a strong contender for the La Liga title and also as far as the champions league some times back, they have just lost their form of recent and are unable to get back to those winning ways they’ve always been at the top. With their two new big signings, I expect a big change for them in the way they perform in the league and I also want them to not relent and depend on those two players to give them the best chance they want in the league. It is a collective effort, so I expect them to be able to find out the best strategy to use in order to be at the top this season alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona which the league trophy has always been rotating between them both for quite some time now.
It happened a few years ago and culminated in the 2020 season where they won La Liga, but after that we can see that Atletico is actually quite broken where they although always bus to be in the top 4 in La Liga but their performance is not close to their prime in the Griezmann era which is crazy in 2020 because they can't even compete realistically for trophies in La Liga and Champions League.
This season there is actually a little chance for them especially with some overhauls made by Simeone where the players brought in, especially for the striker position, are very good but indeed the presence of Sorloth and Julian Alvarez to date has still not had any impact on Atletico because the adaptation is still lacking from these two players even though their potential is very good.
