Manchester United needs to make an overhaul, many players in the Manchester United first team are underperforming and sitting comfortably on huge wages. I don’t know if it is the managers fault for having faith in them or the top management who are reluctant to do away with these set of players. If Manchester United continues like this, there is no way Ten Hag is escaping getting sacked this season.
If Manchester United management is planning to sack Ten Hag, I don't think he will make it to this season at the club, this team has performed very poorly over the last two seasons, and the management decides not to sack him to hire another manager, even this season, I don't think the management will sack him when their performance does not improve from last season because the team management believes Ten Hag is capable of improving the team's performance, I believe we will only see another name as Manchester United manager after Ten Hag's contract with the club expires since the team does not see a better manager than him at present.
However, Ten Hag has some of the blame because they gave him the resources he needed to build the team, but this season Manchester United played like a team that was promoted to the Premier League. Before the season started, I read the news that Manchester United had extended Jonny Evans's contract, so I started to doubt that they were going to perform the way they did the previous year because which team would sign Evans unless they didn't want their performance to be great.
