I agree with you, Manchester city are the favorite to win the EPL title due to their form, and unchanged squad from the previous season however, I have a doubt if they will be able to rewrite history again and set a more difficult record to be broken. I.e due to the competitiveness of this season, I doubt if they'll be able to win the EPL title ones again. Arsenal and Liverpool has been on a good form, we also have Brighton on top form this season, i hope they keep up with this form, to make the league more competitive. The record broken by Manchester City, only makes it obvious that they have no worthy competitors during the last 4 seasons. The more competitive it gets, the more interesting the league becomes. But currently Premier League is considered by many as farmers league. I also have my fair share of doubts about City's performance. If Haaland faces injury this season, Manchester City's performance will be erratic, I'm sure. Manchester United should not sell Alvarez at all. Alvarez's excellent performances have helped to keep Manchester City's overall performance consistent. Alvarez's goals have also led to City wins in several key matches. I look forward to seeing which player Guardiola selects as Haaland's replacement if Haaland suffers an injury.
This season I think Liverpool team is in the best rhythm. Liverpool won all three matches. But the most important thing is that this team has not conceded a single goal in three matches. Liverpool performed brilliantly in this match. On the other hand, I had high expectations from Arsenal. However, Arsenal failed to win against Brighton in the last match. Arsenal should perform more carefully in every match.
