You're correct about the ANN thread—it was moved to the Alts category by the Gambling mods, and we agree it needs updating.
To be fair, altcoin boards get less audience as oppose to bitcoin boards. If I have to guess, this plays a big part on why there is a lack of activity in your ANN thread as well.
On that note, in your interview, there was a mention of supporting BTC along with other altcoins. If that's the case it should be fine to move your ANN in Gamling board but I'd make sure to indicate BTC as one of the supported coins in the coming ANN update so it's easier for mods to see.
