Jamal Musiala contract still has 2 years left at Bayern Munich.  Even Musiala is currently Kompany's first choice player even though he is only 21 years old. He became the main midfielder in both Germany and Munich. Munich tried to keep him. But there are rumors that Man City and Man United are trying to buy him.  Man United's success in bringing De Ligt and Zirkzee is also Man United's capital to continue to approach Musiala. But the Munich president is still very confident Musiala will stay in Munich.

I think, it is better for j.Musiala to stay in Munich, this season he is very reliable under Kompany's direction. If the rumor is true, Munich management must be more extra in maintaining Musiala, especially since he is still very young and is a good long-term prospect for Munich. If later there is an agreement outside Munich's control, Musiala is better off choosing Man City, because if Man United I doubt Musiala will shine there unless it is not Ten Hag who is in the coaching seat. That can be considered.

But the world is full of surprises and I think that offers from teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City are extremely tempting for young players. Jamal Musiala is not some small kid playing his first season. He already played 36 games for the German national team! That is massive and these top players are getting younger and younger when they reach their best possible level. He will still grow as a player and improve and other clubs see that enormous potential. Bayern Munich has only chance and that is paying him a salary that breaks Bundesliga records. It's crystal clear that Real Madrid and Manchester City are already watching him. He has already played 116 games and scored 34 goals for the first Bayern Munich team. I guess there is no chance to keep him other than paying him an outlandish salary.

Even if you say he is still very young, then yes that is true biologically. But when someone played 150 games for the German national team and Bayern Munich combined, we are not talking about a freshman anymore. He is a full professional on the highest level and you could see that once again when they played against Hungary. Musiala is going to be on the top of the list very soon when it comes to the selection of the best players in the world. He wasn't there this year, which is quite surprising given what other players were on that list. But this is just a question of time.

The last important point to consider here is that Musiala isn't blind. He can see how players like Bellingham made their way in a team like Real Madrid and Bellingham is half a year younger than Musiala and already plays his second season for Real Madrid as one of the most important players they have. I am sure that this is something Musiala has in the back of his head. He is in a great position for the upcoming negotiations with Bayern Munich as he has two years of contract duration and after this season it is one year. They either pay him a fortune or he earns a fortune when he leaves the club as a free agent. That would be the most painful outcome for Bayern Munich ever and that is why I believe that they are willing to raise the salary bar for Musiala significantly.
