Well I don't think so IMO, Madrid has been qualifying to play in UCL for so many years ,they played with alot of teams so that strategy thing is out for me....they wouldn't have made it through to last year's final if not for some overlooked mistakes by opponent and this is mostly die minute win though Madrid has a strategy of playing fast pressing games in their last minutes but I think those stuffs that happened last year won't repeat itself especially Bayern, Bayern could have reached the finals if not for the last minute subs . Thus saying Realmadrid won't have difficulty issue in UCL with their current squad doesn't seem right to me.
I do not think Real Madrid will have easy time in Champions League with their current team. They have history of doing well in tournament but last year they got lucky because of mistakes made by other teams. They also won some games at very last minute. Other teams like Bayern Munich could have won if they made different decisions. This means Real Madrid did not just win because they were best but also because of things outside of their control. So I think they will face problems in Champions League with their current team.
I don’t see anything much different from their last season to this season. They’ve just upgraded their squad with more players that will help them become better in the competition and not have any issue in this season. If they’ve won the champions league last season because of silly mistakes from their opponents, the opponents should learn from their mistakes and improve in this season because there’s no room for blame games when a team has already triumph and win a trophy.
All is see is a more better Real Madrid that will play better than they did last season and if teams(I.e opponents) don’t take their matches serious, we won’t be surprised to see them win the trophy for another time since they’re the kings of the champions league and they’ve proven it several times in the past and currently doing so. Mbappe and co in the forward position makes me believe and have more confidence on Real Madrid. They are still the same team that has the potentials to win the UCL trophy this year again.
