I expect Manchester United will suffer many losses and draw till the next transfer window opened.
What's the next transfer window going to change, Manchester United have spent quite a large amount of money in the last couple of years, with no real results to show for it in the EPL, yes they have won the Carabao and Fa Cup in the last two seasons, but they have been very poor in both the EPL and the CL. I can't really say for sure what the problem is with United and even if they recruit more players in January, it'd still be the same story sadly.
Just as coyster has said, I do not expect any special thing from Manchester United even if another window is open specially for them. Last season will blamed Manchester United poor performance on injury of players and general unavailability of players. But this season, Manchester United actually had the opportunity to start afresh. They made some signings and also made some sellings but there is no impression of the new players in the team. This means that it takes more than new signings to right the wrongs of Manchester United. I am beginning to believe that the problem of Manchester United is majorly on the coach. Most times Eric ten hang will appear clueless to me.
His ability to select his starting lineup;
His ability to make decent changes; and His ability to manage big players are all in doubt.
