I expect Manchester United will suffer many losses and draw till the next transfer window opened.
Ten Hag has spent €600,000,000 on players in less than 3 years. It doesn’t matter who he buys if the team isn’t coached properly.
Man Utd have been crap since Ferguson left. Numerous managers have also spent a lot and failed there. Success starts on the training pitch not in the transfer window.
This makes complete sense to me, and I totally agree 👍, coaching it not just about having the right players, it's also about building a winning strategy into every of those players, and this can only be achieved in the training pitch just as you have mentioned.
Different clubs and coaches have train their players in different ways and strategies, and one job of a coach is to find the right strategy that not only works, but also is easily learnable by both the players that's been there before, and those that are coming in.
And we can use money as a good example, It doesnt always matter how much money that enters a person's hands, what usually matters is what the person used the money for, that alone will determine whether more money will keep coming in passively or not. And this simply means that, it's one thing to have players that are potentially good, but training them properly is what turns that potential to reality.
