Erik Ten Hag has entered his 3rd season at Manchester United but he has not been able to give his best for the club he coaches, failing in the Premier League title race and failing to go further in the Champions League should have given Man United a lot of lessons and they should look for a better coach than Erik Ten Hag.
There several good coaches, for some reason Man United still retains Erik Ten Hag, even after spending a lot of money, this coach still can't give his best.
But I heard news that if Erik Ten Hag has not been able to improve Man United's performance until the end of 2024 he will be fired so currently Man United still gives him time to make improvements to the team.
And yet he is still not fired, which goes to show you what kind of management exists in Manchester United as well. I have to say that it's really a shame that he is still managing the team and he should have been fired long time ago, he is not and that's a bad thing.
ETH is not a good manager, not at the level of Manchester United and he should have been fired already. The squad itself is not that great neither, I do not put the whole blame to ETH, but you cannot fire every player right away, it takes time to sell some of them and get others, but meanwhile you could just sack ETH and get someone better, and after they get some better manager they can slowly change the team as well.
We will not see Manchester united do fine for a while longer, it will take a while and they are going to be forced to do much worse for a while before they get some result. I think at least two more seasons, this season and next season. This season because they will either fire ETH and get someone interim, or they won2t fire him until the summer, and next season because first year of a new manager is rarely ever a championship, so it is going to be hard. SO at least two seasons, maybe even more until they get better.
