Calling this bad luck may not be the best term to use as at this point because i think it will be rather not exactly true because actually it's normal that when a team isn't in their best form they will suffer some set backs which isn't necessarily seen as bad luck because they can definitely bounce back to becoming their best form as they use to be all the while. For Madrid I believe it's a metter of time and one thing i can trust them with at this time is that they aren't going to decline so bad so at point of recovery it will seem as though there was never any set back.
In fact, the performance of Real Madrid players is not always good in certain seasons. You should be able to admit that and that's why you will find they didn't win the La Liga title or the Champions League that season. For me, this is a normal condition for all teams, even if you think that Real Madrid's chances of lifting the title every season are really high. You will definitely still find Real Madrid failing, regardless of the cause.
At times like that, other teams, both in La Liga and the Champions League, managed to win the title. However, Real Madrid is not used to fasting for a title for more than one or two seasons, I mean they will win it in the next season or the next. That's Real Madrid who have so far crowned themselves as kings of the Champions League title.
