I wonder what Ten Hag is still doing in Manchester United as their coach when he has underperformed in his ability to carry all the players along particularly the star players signed into the club. It was not a misfortune that Ronaldo could not perform as much as he could have done when he was at the Man U team earlier. The difference is, during the time of Sir Alex Ferguson, he got a more flourishing ground to play and exercise his skills in delivering the club. When he later came back for the second time, Erik Ten Hag could not manage Ronaldo to his best, hence the low performance experienced in the club.
Every coach has his own way of handling players and here we can say that Ten Haq is not the right coach for Ronaldo and some other players. If we talk about ability, Ten Hag clearly has the ability and he once brought Manchester United to finish in the top 3 accounts involved but after that Manchester United's performance got worse, what is more surprising is that Manchester United management still gives Ten Hag a chance even though there has been no significant improvement in the last 2 seasons.
There is no doubt about what you pointed out concerning the different ways coaches handle their players and the case of Ten hag and Ronaldo took a different level as both parties failed to understand each other very well. I believe Ten hag initially had the ability to bring a positive change in the team as he team when he newly joined the team but right now after United finished among the top3 he has not achieved that result again this means that Ten hag has lost the right track to make the job easier for him but for what is been seen in the team right now I don't think Ten hag has what it takes rise rhe United tean again.
