It will be an hobby if limits are continue being executed, if you are not overspending your money and you always have that will to stop when you already reached your target, both on your winning and losing allocated budget, most of those who suffer from losing a lot mistakenly treat this venue of entertainment.
You need to make sure that you are not pleasing your lust and desire to the point that you become addicted then lose a lot.
I agree with that, and actually I think it's okay to make gambling a hobby as long as there are limits that we continue to obey ourselves whether the final result of the gambling is losing or winning but if there are limits I'm sure there will be no gambling that is done excessively. Maybe some people think it's not good to make gambling a hobby because it can cause people who do it to have problems but now let's think about the hobbies of people outside who like to collect watches, modify cars or motorbikes I think that also has to spend money so it's the same as gambling but maybe the difference is in the sensation because with gambling that is made a hobby the results tend not to be visible unlike other hobbies that I mentioned above which do have visible results. When gambling is made a hobby then there will be a sensation that is obtained even though it ends in defeat, and I think someone who makes gambling a hobby is fine, besides the bad impacts they themselves will feel if the gambling is done excessively.
