Erik Ten Hak is having a pretty serious problem right now and he is facing a team performance problem that is not getting any better.
It's very lucky for Ten Hag to receive surprising great support from Manchester United but he must know that it won't last long and never last forever.
This season he has added players but there has been no real change and it is still quite difficult for him to develop players to get games best in getting full points.
It is true that only three games have been played and there may be many opportunities for him to evaluate but these two defeats are a problem.
By trusting him, and giving him more money to fix issues, if he won't succeed in this season, a sack order is waiting for him and already waits for a right time to be executed. If Manchester United continue to give him support at the end of this season with the same or worse results than the last season, there are bigger problems in higher management levels of Manchester United and they'll need to fix these things from roof to bottom.
There needs to be a change so that Manchester United can get back to their best form but Erik Ten Hak must be firm with players who often make mistakes.
They must win the next game because if they do it will make them fall further behind in the league.
They need a stable and good form to finish this season in top four, that's it. They don't need good, super form for a few weeks or have some weeks in a second position and have vague hope like they are back strongly and ready for title competition. It's unrealistic, and they must improve quality, performances, rank gradually with time, season by season.
