Any news on how the "MATIC" to "POL" upgrade will be affecting playing on the casino/sportsbook especially that Dgetbet is pretty much built to run on this Blockchain??? Perhaps this is an automated process especially if we use Metamask we just choose POL and this will work

For holders of MATIC on Polygon PoS, no action will be required. POL will be upgraded automatically to become the native gas and staking token on Polygon PoS without having to lift a finger.
