I agree with you, nobody should conclude on the inability of PSG not winning the champions league as a result of them not having a star players or professionals as the case may be, PSG has had a bad experience having quality players who couldn't help them achieve the UCL trophy all through their time they can not afford to bring in more star players when are rebuilding the team with young vibrant players.
The current coach of PSG Enrique understands his work as a good coach and he has done a great work in the team from their performance in the league so far it will only take him some time to continue the reign as the ligue1 champion while he also push the team to achieving the champions League trophy as they better their performance.
I don't believe that PSG problem has been the absence of star players, remember the MNM, Neymar, Mbappé and Messi, and yet, they couldn't achieve anything after their era namely Champions League trophy, even when almost everyone thought they would have lifted the trophy, I kind of think that their major problem has been with getting the right coach to get them to the promise land and to bring the trophy home. Now that they no longer have star players in the team, I wonder what would be their faith going forward.
Maybe most people believe that when there are star players PSG can win the champions league, but in fact not, even when a few steps away from being able to get it, I remember once they were too confident, but other teams are much better than PSG, such as Manchester City and Real Madrid who have extraordinary abilities.
We remember that last season PSG could only reach the semi-finals and lost to Dortmund who didn't even have a star player like Mbappe, you have to remember that in a team all players have to work and have the best performance and at PSG only have an attack with unequal line abilities, this is because Enrique trusts too much in his attack to get the victory, I hope he can learn his mistakes.
And for now he is starting to improve and it seems that PSG are much better in terms of their playing style, the league 1 cup is still possible for them.
