I also think they were deliberate about the bringing of Mbappé who will work hard to deliver his dream club. Remember, Real Madrid is still have Ancelotti as its coach and are not ready to relinquish him anytime within the season and I don't think Ancelotti is also interested in leading the club some more times since he understood the squad and knows how well to bring trophies home. Real Madrid doesn't need Mbappe to win the champions league, they have proven that they didn't need some of their top players to do it. They won without Ronaldo being on the team therefore Mbappe is nothing to them. I have a feeling they just needed mbappe to sell the jersey and prevent other clubs from having him and causing an obstacle to their title challenge. Mbappe needs Real Madrid to take his career to the next level but Real Madrid can always do fine without him and the early the top stars at the club gets to know this fact, the better it'll be for their career to know when to move on and not play for a club all their life that don't value their players.
