It's not all of bookies were favoring Manchester United. In stake, Tottenham Hotspur has become the most favorite club to get the Europa League trophy. But i consider the Europa League is far harder to predict compared to the UCL.
I meant that the result from this competition is very random. Last season, none predicted Atalanta would get the trophy, but they made it.

Wey easy to want to see Tottenham win the Europa as against Manchester United due to their differences in consistency, normally, looking from last season till this seasons results, saying Manchester United is going to win will definitely be in doubt much more than you would with Tottenham that had a pattern they have been able to maintain, so I understand where all of the support for Tottenham was coming from, because they have earned it but again it's really difficult telling accurately who's going to win the Europa because like you said the results are really random that an underdog be be sen leading ahead of the A-listers.
If the competition has not started we will find it difficult to guess now because the clubs that are favored from the start have not fully guaranteed that they will win the trophy, the proof is Liverpool and Leverkusen last season who were highly favored by many people but who would have thought that the winner would not be one of them so let's see what the journey of the Europa League this season is like we see until the last 16 we will start guessing through their appearance through this early round if clubs like Roma, Manchester United and Tottenham are still surviving maybe one of them will bring home this trophy.
