With Mikel Arteta as coach, Arsenal will go far this season and we understand the pattern of the coach, aiming for goals and winning major titles with Arsenal but I do think it's not yet time. Mikel Arteta have core duties to carry out this season, we totally know the potential development of Gunners this season and exceptionally stunning.
Arteta started from scratch, even I felt doubtful when 2 years went on there was no good development with Arsenal. But I was wrong, Arteta was finally able to prove himself and be trusted again. Arteta was then given the trust and facilities to make several transfers. Although in the end they have not been able to become EPL champions. But if you look at the moment Arsenal is very good. I think Arsenal's target this year is to win the EPL.
Arsenal's target has always been to win the EPL even since more than two decades ago. Arteta was good. He impacted the club. But, they lack a winning mentality.
It has been 5 years since Arteta was at Arsenal, but he could give only 1 trophy to his club. It's a shame to compare his club to their rival, Manchester United. They won two trophies in two seasons.
The winning mentality has always been Arsenal's problem since Wenger was there. It even still continues till this time. I'm always wondering how they can get rid of this problem.
The winning mentality is indeed a crucial aspect in football and it seems that Arsenal has been struggling with this for a while now. However, we also should remember that changing such deep-rooted issues takes time and consistent effort.
Mikel Arteta certainly has a mammoth task in front of him, but he has shown promise with the improvements the club has made under his coaching. Although they have not won the EPL title in recent times, Arsenal still have had some memorable performances and they seem to be more competitive now.
Regarding the comparison with Manchester United, it's important to note that the two clubs have had different journeys over the last few years. Each club has its own unique set of circumstances, so comparisons might not always give us the full picture.
Ultimately, only time will tell if Arteta and Arsenal can overcome these challenges and bring the glory days back to the Gunners.
