Let's be honest
A person who's only concerned about the dip should be considered a trader
An investor doesn't just wait for the dip
They have a target and a plan in making their investment.
Pick a project(Bitcoin) you trust with a great future and accumulate rather than waiting for dip to sell the top.
Yes once the dip comes buy not because is a dip but an opportunity to get cheaper especially if you have the spare funds.
I agree with you a hundred percent, trading involves looking for opportunities to enter into the market and make profits with some strategies and that is the same with waiting for the dip only to purchase Bitcoin, especially for a newbie in Bitcoin or someone who is presumingly in his accommodation journey. He would lose out on precious time and opportunities to accumulate a decent amount before the dip eventually comes by, if it actually comes within the span of time he waits.
The dip is an added advantage to those who are already in their accommodation journey and have more discretionary income available to them. It is not bad for example, I'm DCAing $100 weekly consistently and I've another $2k or more kept aside expecting the dip, when the dip eventually comes by, I already have a very decent amount accumulated and I have another added advantage to purchase more at much lower prices, thereby boosting my portfolio. You can see for yourself that I've gained on two sides. The dip is an advantage that investors benefit from and not an accumulation strategy that we all should fold our hands and wait for, thereby neglecting the powerful impact of the slow and steady process that DCA presents us.
