Last season Monaco and Brest were the two main opposition to PSG's title win. Marseille had a rough season, but they came back this season with a different mentality. They got a new coach and some good players. This might be why football fans and pundits are tipping them as one of the title contenders this season. The season is still at its earliest stage with just three games played. We cannot predict what will happen in the middle of the season. But my prediction is that unless Marseille comes up with an extraordinary performance, PSG will still be crown champions this season. Getting a Champions League slot should be a great achievement for Roberto De Zerbi's side.
This is the final standings in Ligue 1 last season where at that time Paris Saint Germain managed to claim the title before the season was completely over. too far the distance between them and the other 2 clubs so that they could easily claim the title. actually this is a view that often occurs in Ligue 1 every season.
