Personally I had a set target both when winning or losing I quit, however before I reached that conclusion it took me a while to achieve it,
It's good you where able to set a target and stick to it, not everyone has such trait, it takes discipline to do such because when someone who's benefiting from a particular thing no matter how risky it is, if they don't have self control, they could get carried away by the benefits they're getting from it and gradually become addicts, however the major thing that makes it difficult for people to quit even while they're having much losing streaks is lose chasing, but if someone is not very wealthy enough to afford such habit they could gradually quit. Well in conclusion, it takes discipline for people that fall under such categories whether people with much or less winking streaks to avoid gambling addiction and that's just it.
It might be a plan of qiut at a tatget point or winning after a target amount. But the target must be break after reached the target and it will be higher than the initial target and once again will break when it reach and it will be higher again and that will be reach but will be brocken once again and it will continue like this way.

I think that it is easier when you do have a target. For example sometime ago the bank called me telling that the overdraft is due (I changed job and being paid not anymore at that bank) and this is bad if you don't pay because the central authority won't give you any credit or mortgage for the house if you want to apply for it. This made me think and I made a bold move, I said to myself I am trying the shit out of the game I always lose but only this time doing buy bonuses of 20 dollars each and I had only 184 dollars so 9 buy bonuses in total if everything would have gone wrong. Luckily it worked out as the game paid about 1524 dollars through these bonuses and I immediately quit as soon as I reach that amount, directly withdrew and paid the overdraft of 1000 dollars and I am a free man since then  Grin. Still though as my advice don't try this if you are not ready to face the consequences, meaning don't cry if you lose it all following the same game play as I did. I surely won't do it again, it just worked out once.

You where actually lucky that things went your way . Yeah is good to have target , like alot of folks have this mindset that this is the amount of money am planning to make in gambling, but one thing is for sure is not encouraging to take gambling as a source of income because it ain't a reliable one . Because you can either win or lose , and is not everyone with target that do keep to it some wasn't able to hit their target , while some where able but endup losing everything, while some where lucky to win a life changing jackpot and stopped instantly without greed getting the best of them and stuff.
