His statement tells us how much Arteta is happy with the Gunners. First of all, I appreciate that the Arsenal club has actually made this decision. He has definitely shown a lot of improvements with Arsenal in recent times. One can argue that he has also spent a lot of money. But I believe in this day and age everyone is spending a lot of money. The thing that matters is, whether is he bringing good results or not. And I think he is definitely bringing in good results. And obviously, this is going to give him the confidence to actually work without any hesitation in the future.
By the way, the expectations are also going to be very high from him because now they are giving him money almost the same as Guardiola because they are expecting the same kind of results from him. I hope he will be able to handle that expectation.
