This big win is good for Manchester United in result and helpful for them to get rid of negative sentiment at least temporarily, but there is a minus point with an injury of De Ligt.
Manchester United is not a team that when they win a match or two you’ll begin to give big hope on, they need to remain consistent for them to be trusted in the future as the league is going. They did well against Southampton but don’t be surprised that they’ll not do as much as they did in this match and will lose the next match. The fans have already gotten use to them so, with every small win they get, they tend to jubilate as though they won a trophy. All they need to do now is to be consistent in the games which will give them an edge over other teams in the league when they start now.
In another match just ended, Arsenal won against Tottenham in a London derby match. It's a difficult match for Arsenal but finally they got a maximum point from Tottenham and went through a big test with good result to continue a tight race with Manchester City.
I was so impressed by Arsenal’s performance today, they had a lot of big name injury players but they were still able to win the match despite all the obstacles against them. The header from Gabriel was superb and there was no way their goalkeeper could stop the pressure the ball came with before entering the goal net. Arsenal are very much aware of what is ahead of them, I just hope they don’t fumble in the end like they always do towards the end of the season.
