Namibia managed to collect 134 runs in 36 overs. The team is collecting an average of 3.72 runs per over. I wouldn't have called it a bad collection if Namibia hadn't lost 5 wickets. Namibia have already lost 5 key batsmen from their squad. So will it be possible for Namibia to collect more than 200? If the pair of Smit and Eaton do not perform well, Namibia will not be able to muster up to 200. And if Namibia give less than 200 target on this pitch then I would say they have no chance of winning. Because USA's batting order is strong enough. In the last few T20 matches we have seen the USA team make big collections.
Namibia currently took 172 run and they lost their six wicket and they have only 24 ball to end this first innings. ANd their current run rate is only about the 3.80 . So there is a high possibility of they stuck in under 200. Today two openers of the Namibian team performed very poorly, only one of them performed well today and that is Jan Frylinck who scored the highest run of the day 77 although his strike rate was poor.
Now it is about who will win today's match, if the Namibian team is all out below 200 runs or set the target below 200 runs for America then it will not be a difficult task for America to win in ODI format. So I am choosing the USA team for today.
