You didn't donate royalty to catizen it's your failure but you didn't know you could have earned good amount from it. Generally those who were above CAT level 10 are ineligible. Also it's very easy if you start fresh you could make more than cat level 10 in just 30 minutes. Moreover, those who got more rewards spent more money. As you can see those who went from gold to platinum also had to spend a good amount of money. And those who have done most or have the most though I have got very little. I also reduced expenses.
