Just because of the lose Liverpool recorded against Nottingham Forest does not mean that they’re been inconsistent this season. It’s okay to lose a match not losing consecutively is not what is acceptable by any club’s management. Liverpool only lost a match in the premier league, it doesn’t mean they’ll lose their match in the champions league as well even if they’re going to be playing against a more superior team than Nottingham Forest in the champions league. Both teams are good and the match is going to be hard to decide at this point. It is better to remain neutral on this type of matches because both team la even have enough experience in the champions league and they won’t take it easy on each other before we get to see who wins the match at the end of the day. I’m looking forward to this match, because of how entertaining I’m envisioning it to be.

I agree, of course that loss was a total mess and everyone in the club and outside the club knows it. I am sure that literally nobody put a bet on Nottingham Forest in that game. The chances that Liverpool would give away those three points were zero, but as you can see only because a club has a small name doesn't mean that they can't play any football at all. Opponents have to be taken seriously and you could see that. But usually an event like this happens once or at maximum twice in a season. It's not going to happen again I believe.

Whatever it is that happened in that game, just like the Liverpool fans, their players may have underestimated Nottingham Forest. Generally, the loss came to  Liverpool as a surprise. However, it's not meant to be the foundation of judgement for their game against Ac Milan, I presume the Liverpool team will buckle up and play a better football. I wouldn't want to predict the outcome of such a competitive game, but from the previous performance of both teams it'll appear to end as a draw.
Maybe one of the reasons for Liverpool's defeat is that they wanted to prepare for the Champions League match. The Champions League is more important and Nottingham was an opponent they did not see as strong. They must have thought that they could beat them in any way and underestimated them. But you shouldn't do that. You should take every opponent seriously, both in the league and in the Champions League. This defeat could even cost Liverpool the championship at the end of the year.
this is actually far from the reality that happened. How will Liverpool that are almost top on the table want to give a point away against Nottingham that's a much easier opponent to beat when they are still eying the top of the table? They didn't play as though it was just a simple match they didn't care on it outcome. With 14 shots and 5 shot on target against Nottingham 5 shots and 3 shot on target, if all things works as it ought to be, Liverpool would have comfortablly wok the game straight up without any form of argument. They were even better in terms of possession and in almost all ramification. It was not just there day and they just got unlucky to give all three point away. With regards the coming champion league games against Milan,  even though they have better chances of getting the victory coupled with clear winning records the have in their past encounter, thier last performance will still affect them in the tomorrow game. After they lost thier last game, going into this first champions league game will certainly involve serious energy and zeal to winning Milan by all means known possible.
