The odds shown do place Juventus as the favorite team, but I don't think they are too dominant between each other. There is a possibility that Juventus will perform differently when playing in the Champions League, although we realize that it takes extra work, especially since they were absent last season due to sanctions. PSV have the attributes to make a surprise, they have better confidence than Juventus. Thiago Motta and his squad are a little lucky to act as hosts, then I think Juventus can win narrowly today.
Juventus have better tradition in Champions League, and in this season they have a better squad that is more competitive than PSV. Though these things help Juventus to have some advantages before their match with PSV but two draws in Serie A lately show that Juventus are not too good in attacks.
This lack of good attacks from Juventus will give PSV some chance to get 1 point from Juventus and maybe PSV don't want more than 1 point. They are weaker than Juventus if if they can play well in defense, they can block Juventus attacks and have 1 point from this strong opponent. That result, even not a win, will be good start for PSV in Champions League.
