I don't think the win was entirely down to luck. Even though Arsenal faced considerable pressure from Tottenham but they indeed have a solid defense. Arteta knows they cannot afford to play an open and offensive game because, without Odegaard and Declan Rice, their rhythm would not have developed optimally. Therefore, they tend to play defensive football and wait for a good opportunity to counter-attack. That patience paid off, when Tottenham was so frustrated in chasing goals, it was Arsenal who broke the deadlock.
It only takes a well taken opportunity for a team to get a win in a match they might have been struggling to win for a long time. The match is such that Arsenal’s Arteta had the better plan and was able to execute it faster and the remaining game went his way as he must have planned it. Arsenal played a beautiful game in that match and they deserved the win and accolades received from that match. Arsenal’s defense were just too good and achieved exactly what they wanted in that match.
To me I think if Chelsea have the kind of defense Arsenal have they're good to go because the attacking line I just as perfect as any coach would want and adding the Arsenal defense it makes the team to be solid and the midfielders can as well improve and do much better week in week out. I'm just saying but what do we have to say about that? Because if you want to say the clubs that have the best defense in the EPL, in the top 5 Arsenal is either 1st or 2nd, what do you make of that?
Are you making suggestions and given Arsenal the team with best defense because of the result of their match with Tottenham, how they were able to came out victorious from that match? I know Arsenal has a good defense but conclusions can’t be made yet to say they’ve the best defense. If you have a good coach that can manage and control the defense of a team well, you’re good to go and not need worry about conceding too many goals.
