I think that the best strategy to deal with spammers is to ignore them. There's a block button for a reason. We don't even need mods for this, just block any user you don't like and move on. Heck, you don't even need to block anyone when you can just ignore their existence.

Fun fact, there is a certain group of people on this forum who must be spammers in disguise. These people discuss nothing but gambling. They keep engaging in counter-productive discussions that serve no purpose other than apparently advertising the crypto gambling platforms they're affiliated with. I've stamped across a disproportionately high amount of old Legendary and Hero members of this forum who advertised these websites on their profile pictures and in their signatures. I even wonder if these accounts were sold at some point, and if these are real people or some AI bots. Yet for some reason their posts are not considered low quality...
