This can't happen with Bitcoin, all transactions are transparent, you can easily know where the fault comes from and less than $0.3 will complete the transaction in minutes.
Nah! That's not so. What happened there was a normal transfer or deposit charges and it can happen with Bitcoin too. We've seen people get charged high in Bitcoin, and confirmation delayed for days too during congestion on the blockchain. Stuff like that aren't exclusive to fiat. We shouldn't be subjective in our assessment to the point that we begin to heap such blame on fiat alone.
