No one knows about the future but all we can do is speculate and say some predictions on what will happen in the future. I think Bitcoin will repeat its cycle to attain a new ATH in 2025. I think that Bitcoin will multiply its 2021 ATH by 2.5x to 3x around $150k to $180k+. It may happen and may not but we all hope as Bitcoin holders that Bitcoin will perform and repeat its history again next year. If Bitcoin performs and repeats its history then $100k will obviously be breached.
It's worth to mentioned though that we have a new cycle, we haven't seen this in our past historical logs, and that is we have reach a new all time high before the halving itself. So it's really hard to see where the price will be in 2025, it could be that we will touch $100,000 or even higher or we won't.
But there will be a new cycle in 2026 that might pushes the price that we are expecting to happen in 2025. So who knows, there's a lot of possible scenario at the end of this year or next year that we haven't seen before, IMHO.
Bitcoin hitting a new ATH before the halving is also notable but as we all know the reason for that is the ETF approval. But if we ignore that detail, as I see it, things are still repeating themselves and it is not too much to expect history to repeat itself again.
But indeed, nothing is certain when it comes to the future, there is nothing wrong with expecting history to repeat itself but we should also have a backup plan if things do not go as expected. I think it's better to have backup plans than to have just one plan and focus too much on it. History may or may not repeat itself, or the bull run may come later than expected, or we may hold bitcoin longer than we think before making a profit...Anything can happen so have a backup plan or investment strategy that is longer than the market cycle (4 years).
