In my opinion, getting profit from staking will be higher with less risk than trading. But here, too, a lot depends on which project you choose for staking. I will give an example from personal practice: In the spring, I placed my stablecoins in the Ethena project and received a profit of 100% in a few weeks of staking. The second season of the same project was much longer and the profit received for staking in 4 months was only 7.5%.
True, have higher risk when taking advantage from staking project although promising bigger APR reward due not consistent running for long term and usually higher APY reward just running few days only. Most of project only have returning APY reward under 10% usually with stable coins have stable price although hold on for long term, difference when any project promising higher APY reward but can't guarantee their coins keep on higher price with opportunity dropped significant.
In my opinion, have large opportunity earn much profitable trough trading than put our money for staking coins however they are promising higher reward or not.
But if your assets have dropped significant and that project offering with staking not large APY its not bad try for staking until our coins assets recovery back to the higher price. Don't blame when looking any project promising higher staking reward exactly with new coins have bad possibility in the future with price drop.
